Runswick Bay Caravan and Camping Park will be closed from the 1st of October until spring 2020 for all touring caravans, motorhomes, glamping and tent bookings.
We have works commencing on site therefore we have decided to close for the autumn and winter months, we will have further information later in the year as to when we will be open for booking for spring 2020.

We are a family run dog friendly caravan and camping park, located in the picturesque village of Runswick Bay, just 6 miles north of the popular seaside town of Whitby. The park is close to all amenities including shops, a post office, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Also within walking distance is Runswick Bay’s beautiful sandy beach.

Runswick Bay is very dog friendly allowing dogs on the beach,in the pubs and restaurants, We are also just a few minutes from The Cleveland Way Walk which takes you along the breathtaking coastline.

Walk to Whitby or up to Staithes to see where Captain Cook sailed from or take the children to see where Old Jack’s Boat was filmed for CBBC an ideal trip for families with small children.

The park boasts 32 pitches with electric hook-up, some with hard standing.  As a family owned and operated park, we pride ourselves on our customer service and making your stay as pleasant as possible. So if you’re looking for a caravan park near Whitby, Runswick Bay Caravan & Camping Park is your ideal destination.

When we travel to whitby we mostly stay here as we tow a small car behind our motor-home it is a great base. You are always made welcome and can ask for help from the site on directions to many attractions nearby.

A really great place to stay. Not expensive, very clean and really accommodating and friendly staff. Lovely setting on the edge of the Cleveland Way right at the top of the cliffs looking over the sea. Plenty of cover with hedges and pine trees though.

Stayed here for 6 nights, brilliant site, beautiful scenery.great views of the Yorkshire Moors, and Runswick Bay is beautiful. Fantastic walking places, great if you have dogs. Peaceful. Thanks to Howard, for lending us his dogs lead as we forgot ours!
